Ya Boy Black Ice (aka YBBI, aka Trav Lyrics)
United States, English
I was 15 years old in 1986 when I chose to become a Professional Rapper. Ultimately in 2001, after two Independent releases ('92 & '98), giving away most of my Tapes/CDs to def ears, buying magazine write-ups, and paying for the privilege to perform; I retired, rather than competing in the "Go Dumb" era. Today, the original music is still very good and my skills are sharp. My drawbacks as a rapper and label in 1998 were: 1) I am a critical thinker, 2) Lack of business savvy (I just wanted to rap) 3) Lack of popularity 4) Lack of money to obtain a real listen and buy-in from the people within my reach. Fortunately, I diversified early. Since 1995, I have become a Graphic Designer, My own Webpage Designer, Clothing Brand Owner, Hella Frustrated, Self-Exiled (2003-2007), HUSBAND, FATHER, Business Mentee, Managing Member of a Structured LLC, Web 2.0 Student, Conglomeratuer. Respectively. To my validation, as of 2008, the re-issue of my now RARE & CLASSIC 1998 Album, "5.0 REASONS 10th Anniversary (1998-2008)" is selling to Collectors and Fans in Japan, France, The UK, and Norway via The Web 2.0. Collectors around the world consider "5.0 REASONS" (1998) a classic album from the G-Funk Era. An Original copy is Ultra-Rare valued about $90USD as of Dec 2007. Check eBay for current market value. Impossible to replace the OG album, our goal with this release is only to offer a feasible solution for Collectors and Fans: "Cop the 10th Anniversary and keep space reserved in your collection for the OG CD, Cassette, and Vinyl.". April 2009, Travlyrics Music released my album "The Clean Collection". If you hate clean albums, you should like this one. Its all clean with 2 special tracks mothers around the world -- "I Love My Mama" -- which is comparable to the mama songs of Tupac, Rappin-4-Tay, and Boys II Men. Album Bonuses: • From a bonified classic artist. • 4 unreleas
