Coming to you with Conscious Groove’s Spoken Word Sundays on WXRP with the one and only, Poetess Tracy and Mike Scott .

Mike Scott ia a writer, author, educator, and performer Mike Scott represents a collective of poets from the state of Georgia who aim to use their talent and resources in order to support and uplift the community. These artists have branded themselves and their work with the title B.L.A.C.K, which stands for Believing Love And Cherishing Knowledge. This statement represents their primary mission, which is to "re-define the state of black", and counter the negative perceptions of African-American culture created by popular media.

Since the release of his first self-published book in 2010 entitled "B.L.A.C.K. WORDS INSPIRE", Mike Scott has been featured on stages across the country as a performer, and has become well known for his creative writing and stage performance workshops for young and aspiring artists. In 2012 he released his second book of published works entitled "B.L.A.C.K. Is A Love Story", and his first Spoken Word Album entitled "Mirrors Part 1".
