Ah yes, the story of the Black Bottom Lighters is a true and honorable story indeed. With over 60 years of combined experience in musical study ranging from reggae, funk, jazz, blues, hip hop, R&B, & house, it is difficult to determine which way the Black Bottom Lighters will go when they get behind their instruments. Three guitarists, two vocalists, a percussionist, and a turntablist form one of the most dynamic sounding groups in the Arizona desert. Built on an acoustic foundation, the BBL's sound is as difficult to describe as it is to dislike. From mellow unplugged personal performances to wild stage acts as well as a crowd thats typically on the cusp of out of control, you are sure to have a memory or two when you leave one of their shows. Starting out with open mics after minimal rehearsal to rehearsing everyday and playing larger venues, you could catch them playing pretty much anywhere - from a back yard, living room, street corner, or pool to larger venues, bars, and clubs - and everywhere in between.
With the band's extraordinary ability to write songs and perform, they expect to progress quickly. The tale of the Black Bottom Lighters continues...
