Creating strong women in fiction is one major reason Radine Trees Nehring began writing her novels, and, though she expected mature females to be her major readers, she's been happy to learn she has, not only male fans, but female readers as young as beginning teens. Her writing has received a number of awards in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, as well as nationally. Most recently her novel, JOURNEY TO DIE FOR won the Silver Falchion at Killer Nashville. Radine is happy to have many writing friends she has met at conferences and on line, and often works with beginning writers. She was recently chosen as the 2011 inductee into the Arkansas Writers' Hall of fame by American Pen Women and the Arkansas Writers' Conference.
