Tune in to Writestream on September 1 at 1 p.m. Eastern when Writestream co-founder and host Daria Anne interviews the multi-talented author Paul Clayton:
Paul Clayton is the author of a three-book historical series on the Spanish conquest of the Floridas -- Calling Crow, Flight of the Crow, and Calling Crow Nation, originally published by Putnam/Berkley, a novel, Carl Melcher Goes to Vietnam (St. Martin's Press), Strange Worlds, a collection of science fiction and fantasy short stories (Kindle/CreateSpace), and White Seed, a historical novel of the Lost Colony of Roanoke (Kindle/CreateSpace). His latest effort is titled, In the Shape of a Man, a literary novel with subtle touches of horror. Clayton's war novel, Carl Melcher Goes to Vietnam, based on his own experiences in that campaign, was a finalist at the 2001 Frankfurt eBook Awards, along with works by Joyce Carol Oates (Faithless) and David McCullough (John Adams). Clayton is currently working on Van Ripplewink; You Can't Go Home Again! -- a contemporary novel of War and Peace and Race and Love.
