A frog thrown into a pot of hot water will immediately jump out...a frog brought to boil slowly from cool water will not notice the change:  It will die!

An excerpt from They Thought They Were Free, The Germans, 1933-45 by Milton Mayer:

"What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with Hitler, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it."

President Obama promised a transparent administration - it has been far from that.  And yet, his control of both the Congressional and the Judicial branches has been unusual.  Legislation has been passed without thorough understanding of the contents.  Executive decision circumventing rule of law is the norm.  All the while, political correctness from the citizenry provides a strategic diversion so we won't notice.

Listen as Judge Hal Moroz discusses how history may be repeating its self.
