Join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern on April 15 when he welcomes guest Fred Rainbow to the program. Fred is the Executive Director of the AFCEA Educational Foundation. 

Mr. Rainbow came to AFCEA from the U.S. Naval Institute where he had worked for 30 years.  Mr. Rainbow serves on the Secretary of the Navy's Advisory Committee for Naval History and the Board of Trustees of The Naval Intelligence Foundation. He also is a member of the George Mason University C4I Center Advisory Group. 

A  graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in history and social studies, Mr. Rainbow received the Coast Guard Distinguished Public Service Award in 2002, the Admiral Arthur W. Radford Award for Excellence in Naval Aviation History and Literature in May 2005, and the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award in November 2005. Mr. Rainbow is a life member of the U.S. Naval Institute, Marine Corps Association, Naval Intelligence Professionals, and Naval Aviation Museum Foundation.
