Eight in ten women this year will be diagnosed with HPV which has many different strands and types: the most aggressive of them is the leading cause of cervical cancer . HPV hasnt been monitored until lately when doctors found that it can be prevented : they formulated a vaccine called Gaurdacil : but that doesnt help the women that have had the virus unknowingly for years . This show is to talk about through poetry and prose how we deal with the diagnosis; the diagnosis of one of the fastest growing cancers, and how to deal with the aggressive treatment options. So far I am a survivor.. and it is my quest to make this world free of "ONE LESS" disease and by talking every chance I get .. "ONE LESS" person will have to go through it. Because when you have cancer.. it isnt just you that goes through it.. every person who loves you hurts too..
