There’s no question that ice sculptures are among the must-have features at any memorable reception these days. But what to chisel? Master sculptor Max Zuleta lays out the selection process.  “We talk to clients and collect a wish list.  And on that list we gather as much information as possible from the bride and groom—if their taste is minimalistic or contemporary, or if they want something functional, where, say, they can place seafood in the eyes or pour drinks through the mouth,” the founder of Art Below Zero tells The Wedding 101 Show host David Rothstein. “Usually, the bride will choose elements from different sculptures and then we mix them up into one concept.  We also have a graffti wall, where guests can engrave their name into the sculpture when they come into the wedding. So technology has been enabling us to do more and more crazy elements.”
