If you’re searching for the perfect wedding-reception dessert, forget sophistication and think like a five-year-old. That’s the message from Liz O’Brien of Camerio’s Bakery, who has catered hundreds of nuptials. “What is really trending and popular right now is popcorn, carmel corn, a sweet and salty kettle corn.  Anything marshmallowy. I use a lot of hand-rolled caramel. And then s’mores, cupcakes, cotton candy—kind of going back to that retro taste, happy memories of our childhood,” she tells The Wedding 101 Show host David Rothstein. “One of my favorite things when I’m at an event is watching both the youngest guests and oldest guests come up to the table and go, ‘Oh my god! This stuff brings back such memories of places I used to go with my mom.’”
