Call in to speak with the host
Fallon Carter would seem to be every bride’s dream. “They’re paying me to have all the headaches on their wedding day. I’m the one who’s taking care of all the mishaps. The bride should be comfortable enough to sit, smile, look beautiful and enjoy one of the most important days of her life,” the wedding planner tells Black Bag Productions host Kim Moss. As for reception trends among her twentysomething peers, Fallon notes: “Everyone’s being budget-friendly. We’re seeing a lot of retro-chic ‘60s and ‘70s events, many held in backyards with lighter colors, like pinks and pastels. Another one is intimate gatherings. Not having 200 or 300 guests, but keeping it to 20 or 30 and having one long table so everybody’s sitting together.”
