Do the letters www mean, "Why Won't it Work" to you?  During the past 5 years the Internet has undergone a sea change with regards to the way in which it is viewed, used and optimized.  Plus, trying to keep up with the everchanging nature of the web seems to be nearly a full time job.

If you are one of the millions of website owners who are looking for the fast lane onto the Information Superhighway, this is the show for you.  Hosted by professional Internet marketers Carl Weiss and Hector "The Connector" Cisneros, every episode is designed to cover topics, tips and technology that can make or break you online.

Today’s Topic: SOPA and PIPA.  For those of you who missed it, the Internet recently averted a shot across the bow in the guise of The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PIPA (The Protect IP Act).  What these potential acts of Congress had in common were the facts that they would have allowed the government to censor the Internet. Fox News reported that “While current laws already allow owners of copyrighted material to get that content removed from unauthorized websites, SOPA would mean entire sites could be shut down even for minor copyright infractions, a slippery slope that would undermine even good, legal content on the web and allow politically-motivated witch hunts against entire websites.”

So tune in and turn on to what happening in the internet today. As always your questions on or off topic are welcome and make sure to tell your friends. The web address is www.blogtalkradio.com, then just enter "Working The Web to win" in the search box and select the corret date and your there! Live call in's are welcome and no website or internet marketing question is tabbo or insignificant. Just call in and get answers.
