School will take up a lot of time and possibly a lot of money. Even if you are getting a grant or a loan to attend school, before you sign papers to begin studies do this. Copy this list and get answers to all these questions. Ask questions and get answers from the school staff. Ask questions of yourself and be honest. Research for correct career answers on your own.

Know how long the training will last.

What are the days of class and hours

Other than the training you are about to take, what are other qualifications for the job you hope to get.

Does the school have a placement service.

Find out what jobs by title your training qualified you to get.

Find out if those jobs are currently growing or decreasing.

Find out what your work hours will be.

What days you will be required to work.

Are there jobs in your immediate area?

What is the work environment like.

Will the jobs be accessible by your means of transportation.

Are there any physical requirements for the job that you don't meet, or don't want to meet.

What kind of clothing is required on the job.

What is the pay scale for the job.
