One thing I learned while researching becoming a professional cook. I hate all parts of being a cook. All of it. Now, that said, it was fascinating learning about the different occupations in the hospitality industry. Cooking includes various challenges. Based on your experience, education, basic interest you could be doing lots of things daily or assembly/repetitive work all day long. My research in finding work in food preparation leaves me with concern why a person would remain unemployed. Work in the hospitality industry is about service. Getting hired as a cook may mean a different position first and transferring or promoting when the opportunity arises. But I can't understand why there is continued unemployment.
