After spending a decade in the military you now are a civilian seeking your first civilian job. First time job search can be scary. For a veterans it can even be frustrating. There is a job for you! Entry level position is a good start. Just look at this as a boot camp you have to master. Stay at job search until you complete the task of getting hired. Once hired, make it a point to use your skills to the fullest advantage on the job. First conference you have, usually in 30 days, ask how you're doing. Ask for feed back frequently. 90 days in ask for another conference to discuss a pay raise. Discuss the military skills you have and how your time in the military has been an advantage in accomplishing you job duties.
