What you don't know could cost you! Whether you are a business owner or an employee, you need to have a basic understanding of employment law. Michael Tracy, one of the foremost experts on California labor law, joins Jared and Dean on the Words Cause Radio Show here on BlogTalkRadio.com this Saturday at 10AM.
We are talking about overtime here. We've all worked overtime, and many (if not MOST) of us never got paid for that overtime. Many of us believe that getting paid a salary means that we don't get overtime... WRONG! Many of us believe that because we are a manager that we don't get overtime... WRONG!
Employers should be paying the most attention to this show. Your company may be open to substantial financial liability because you don't classify your employees correctly. Any NO company is exempt from this law. Giant companies like Oracle, Microsoft, and dozens of others have been sued for millions of dollars. Smaller companies have lost tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars from unpaid overtime wages!
Got Overtime? is a website operated by the Michael Tracy Law Firm. It is designed to educate employees and employers about employment law, particularly California employment law. Michael Tracy has been successfully helping both sides of employment with following the law and making sure everyone is treated fairly.
Listen in this Saturday morning to get some great advice on making sure you get the wages you deserve as an employee and to make sure you don't dig your company's grave with bad employment practices.
