Heya there. Love your show. It's gonna be one of my regular hangouts, just figuring out in this first week of really listening to blogtalk what my regular shows will be. I love that you have music with poetry. I mostly recite with music, and it's nice to have the opportunity to do so on your show. Very relaxed atmosphere. Robby Baby

    Hey there...

Milo and I (Yvonne) are still fairly new here to BTR. Please forgive us if we haven't yet become acquainted with everyone that has given our first show a listen and by the stat report it seems alot of folk have come by. We want to say thank you and we hope you enjoyed it, we sure did- what a blast.

Now- I understand that the rating system is going to help us along the way here. Basically, beyond sincerely favoring a certain topic, there is definitely a back-scratch system underlying the whole incentive.

I want to let you all know that you don't have to rate us at all, but of course it would help. I would only want you to rate us highly if you honestly felt it was worth a high rating. By the same token, I cannot get away from my honesty when it comes to another's development or standing. If you're good, you know it, and we do too. You'll get a good rating from me. if I think you could use improvement, I will let you know, but only if you ask. In other words I could be brutally honest and still, that's only if I think you've got potential.

Now- if you're just doing a show on BTR to have fun ...awesome baby! Have at it!

Now Milo... hmmm. He loves everyone and gives every effort a standing ovation. He's an all inclusive love hippie of the spoken with a token to pass go in heaven. He'll give everyone 10 stars. Not because he's full of baloney, but because he's full of understanding and love. I really can't recall any one time I have ever heard him say a negative thing. All positivity, that one.

If we were here to simply formulate an idea for BTR that we felt would eventually lead to making money, well, we might as well stay right here in Hollywood , working the machinery as we've always known how to, networking the industry because hey- we do live here.

But nah- if we wanted to be churned into butter by the star making machinery, we could- but it's not that honorable and it's actually gruelling.

Milo Martin and I are exactly what you hear of us here on BTR-WORDBEAT. We are poets. We do poetry. It's the thing we love. It's the greatest thing that ever happened to some people, and the most boring waste of time to others. Oh well.

But if you tune in and like what you hear... be brave and be honest. Give us a rating. Milo's a big boy and me- I'm a bad, bad bi*ch. Uh-huh. Bi*ch and Milo  ...  ;P

But listen folk- over here at WORDBEAT, even though we've been doing poetry for yeeeears- we are still virgins!  I mean- I read the stats and it's really only been slightly over 24 hours and 58 people have downloaded our 1st segment, but noone has rated us!

I guess what I'm trying to say is... can someone please pop our cherry? You don't have to be gentle either, we like it both ways.

    Thank You,

    Yvonne de la Vega
