Topic: Women Who Should Not Enter Trucking and other Truck Driver Training Student Turnover Issues

Less than 1 in 6 female student trucking students become qualified truck drivers yet they are encouraged to enter the industry with no clear parth to success.

Good Trainers are in shortage and often quit training truck driver students when they are not supported by the carrier. Students have been both accused and accuser in sexual harassment, racial slurs and other allegations. Poor support at carriers for trainers and students affects the good trainer population in ways most do not understand in the trucking industry.

Tracy Livingston, truck driver trainer and REAL Women in Trucking Director will discuss CDL Trainee problems that are causing good trainers to stop training students, esspecially women.
