Women Living 4 Jesus is a group of women, who love the Lord and feel that it is their calling/duty to reach out to other women in sisterly love. Faced with many things in our lives, we find at times that we really want a sister to talk with us, and sometimes it is just not good enough to do it on the internet or phone, some times good old fashion face to face conversation is important. Many of us have lack of fellowship in our own lives due to schedules with our children, husbands, and other things that prevent us from being able to attend different functions at our local churches. Today is Just Plain Sharing
I know that there are those that believe because I am a Christian I have to put scripture in everything that I do I do not believe so. Today is just a day of thoughts and things just to get off my head and mind – maybe something will help others or light a fire in someone else to write something inspirational.
Yesterday and this morning, I was just going through reading my emails and thankful to God for the prayer requests that He has already answered and for those that are still yet to be answered. I came across a few MySpace pages that just set my mouth to going and my heart to praying. I know that we are heading into, if not already in the last and evil days because of what we are seeing. I see that many who are claiming Him, their lifestyle does not reflect it but then I see those who are claiming Him letting their life reflect it.
It all comes down to choice, what we choose to do is not always what others choose to do. I am a very direct and to the point woman, I wasted too much of my life being quiet about the important things. I used to hide my true thoughts and talk about trivial stuff, well that is done in my life. I cannot help but discuss the issues at hand and try to make a difference. How many of us are truly doing just that? Are you making a difference in your own individual circle? Are you making a difference to those that are around you and if so what kind of difference? Is it a good or bad difference? Are people running from you or running to hear what you have to say? Now of course to me, in some cases people run from you because of whom you represent and who they represent but yet and still there should be some kind of attraction of Christ in you that keeps them coming back for more conversation. If you truly pay attention, you will know the difference. Do not fool yourself into thinking that they are running from you because of Jesus, it could be because of how you deliver the message, it could be how you live your life NOT according to the word of God and trying to hammer them with the word of God. Some Christians do this very thing and think there is something wrong with EVERYONE ELSE BUT THEM!
How about how you walk in your life, does it make you smile or cry? Do you walk around with your head up or down? Do you trust less or more? Do you love more or less? Where is your walk with the Lord? Do you know who you are? Do you care who you are?
I guess I am just throwing this out to get us to stop and think. So many are calling for a revival in the church, to see a change in the world. It all begins in YOU!!! We as a body of Christ can not come together on ONE ACCORD if we are all doing our own THING!! We need to support each other and not be jealous. We need to reach out to each other but here is just one thing that keeps on pressing – where is YOUR WALK WITH THE LORD??? You cannot come to be on ONE ACCORD with your sister and brother in Christ if you are not walking with the Lord as you should be walking with the Lord. We will not see a change in the world until we are on ONE ACCORD with the Lord in our personal lives first, and then we can come together as sisters and brothers in Christ and walk according to His word in the body of Christ.
So instead of looking at what Sister so and so is NOT doing, what are you doing within yourself to make a difference – a good step in the right direction is to reach out to Sister so and so and HELP HER!!
Okay that is all my rambling for today – of course there is more but that is enough for me to express for this moment!
God Bless and have a blessed and wonderful day in the Lord and if you truly know Jesus – you will for nothing will stop you from allowing Him to be the joy in your day!
