  POSITIVE PRAYER FOR VICTORY
  

  We begin a new 4 part teaching Series entitled “WE WANT A BREAKTHROUGH!”  it will include:

   

  “POSITIVE PRAYER FOR VICTORY” (How to Train your Mind)

  “PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS” (Spiritual Warfare)

  “FREE FROM DEMONIC ATTACK” (Demons & Deliverance)

  “LIVING FREE IN VICTORY” (Through Intercession)

   

  How to train your mind and remain in an attitude of victory!

   

  You can train your mind with the Word of God to receive the victory.  Know what the Bible is saying about you and stand on the promises of God at all times.   Studying God’s Word will help you change your speech according to your life situations.  You will begin to understand ‘what a big God we love and serve’.  In order to see the Word of God being fulfilled in your life you must; take time to be still in His presence and develop a deep intimacy with Jesus Christ.  Repent and come under the Blood of Jesus daily.  Then all your doubts and fears will turn into trust and faith and you will see that your God is bigger than your problems.  He is your answer to sickness and  shame.  His Word becomes more real and your mind is now freely receptive to all things that are impossible with man now become possible with God. 

                                  

  Ephesians 2:4-10, 13 (New King James Version) – “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.   ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Hallelujah!

   

  This is the victory we have and is given to us as Children of God.  We must realize that we are not only alive together with Christ and raised up with him but made to sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Where is Jesus Christ now???   In the heavenly places and we are seated with and in Him.  Glory!  We are in Christ Jesus for good works and though we were far off are now brought near by the Blood of Christ!  The blood that brought us near has power as we each day are sanctified and covered under His protection! Amen!  We can cover everything with the Blood of Jesus; our loved ones, our families, our jobs, our homes, our cars, our government, and so on.  We do not have to ‘plead’ the blood like some still do today because the blood was freely poured out and shed for us on the cross once and for all.

   

  Ephesians 1:17 to 23, Paul says; “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, (do you believe? Yes!) according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” 

   

  Where is Jesus seated?  Verse 20- says “which He worked in Christ was raised from the dead and seated the right hand of the Father in the Heavenly places, verse 21- farrrrrr above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 

  
  ²² And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, ²³ which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”  Who is His Body?  We are!  And we are the fullness of Him (Jesus) we the Church, the Body of Christ is the Fullness of Him!

   

  Check this out.  If Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in the heavenly places, faaaaaar above all principality and powers....and in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 6 it says; “we are raised up together, and made to sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus”...... so how far are we from principalities and powers and might and dominion and everything that has a name including ‘cancers’ tumours, blood sugar, leukaemia, the  lame, deaf and dumb spirits and the rest?  Not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”  Hallelujah!

   

  Now a good question to ask is ‘Why then are my prayers not answered’?  But the best question to ask is....

   

  Will God answer my prayers?   And the answer is yes! yes! yes! God wants us to come to Him in boldness, with confidence; no beggarly attitude, not self-centered in our asking....for He sees the heart and He will answer.

   

  Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call unto Me and I will answer you..."

  Psalm 37:4.. Delight in Me and I will give you the desires of your heart.  

  Psalm 34:15  - The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. 

   

  How then do I Pray?  

   
  1)   Pray according to God's Will - (1 John 5:14) "If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us".
  
  2)   Pray with no wrong motives - to fulfil an inner Lust, fulfil our selfish dreams, Or Illusions.  (James 4:3).   "You ask and receive not because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lust"
  
  3)   Pray with all diligence in expectancy, to receive.  (Proverbs 4:23)  “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life”.
  
  4)   Leave secret grudges against another - (Un-forgiveness) (1 Peter 2:1,2) "lay aside all malice, envy, and evil speaking, and as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word".
  
  5)   Ask without doubt.  Don’t limit a limitless God - (Luke 1:37) “For nothing is impossible with God”.
  
  6)   Don’t condition God - (Matthew 7:7, 8) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

   
  Beware of Satan’s lies, for he is a deceived: 
  -      He will say God has forgotten you – remember the word that says; “God will never leave you nor forsake you”
  
  -      He will stress you out with impatience, doubt, anxiety, fear, grumbling, complaining.  Discern the enemy, rebuke him firmly in Jesus name and come under the blood of Jesus.
  
  -      Keep speaking and meditating on the promises of God.

   

   

  Begin to rejoice!
  
  -      Praise Him, thank Him and mention your victory.  Call your need into being, call it alive in Jesus name.
  
  -      Don’t moan but groan in the Holy Ghost - the Father will not deny the Spirit. That groaning in your soul will birth forth your answer
  
  -      Continue to rejoice and speak the promises of God over your life situations.

   

  The following questions came to me by email.  

   

  1. Does intercession breaks off demon from other peoples lives?  Yes! Jesus cast out demons and gave us the authority to do so.  Mark 16:17a “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons.....”
  2. What is a demon?  They are fallen angels who followed Lucifer when he was cast out of heaven.
  3. Can a demon do what it wants?  Yes, if you open the door, you give him permission to use and abuse you.
  4. Can a Christian have a demon?  Yes.  Deliverance is for Christians ....demons are to be cast out of believers not unbelievers.

  Let us Pray:  Heavenly Father!  We rejoice in Your love and thank You for Your revelation knowledge we received today.  We thank You that we are chosen, called, we are given all the authority and the ‘keys of victory’ in Jesus name.  We cover ourselves, our families, spouses, children and all that concerns us with the Blood of Jesus.  We break all curses, spell, arrows, pins, witchcraft spirits, sent out to us today through the phone lines, through the computer and the networks, we break all principalities and powers sent out to hurt us and distract us and our families from our miracle, in the name of Jesus.  We speak liberty in the Holy Spirit.  We speak blessings, encouragement, beauty for ashes.  We put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness and rejoice for the battle is the Lords and the victory is ours!  Amen, amen, amen.

   

  The Lord bless and keep you, your countenance glory in His presence as you rejoice in His love and joy always!
