  TESTIMONY OF WOMEN ABLAZE - GRETA KATAHA
  

  My name is Greta Kataha and I am your host today on Women Ablaze.  This is a ministry setting Saints on FIRE for Yeshua our Messiah Jesus Christ.  I would like to start by sharing a little bit of my testimony to encourage you in the Lord.  I want to first dedicate this radio program to my late husband Rev. Apollo Kataha who laboured with me in the Lord with his love and patience until his death on December 4^th 2007.   I also thank my children Belinda, Roy, Jesse and Rachel Ruth for being part of my life and I would like to thank all who prayed and stood with me shoulder to shoulder in God’s love.   Lastly I want to bless the Women Ablaze team worldwide, the wonderful Sisters and Families the Lord brought alongside me to make this ministry enjoyable and exciting in Christ Jesus.

   

  My walk with Jesus began in May of 1988 after Jesus touched me in our home, in the small Island of Bahrain in the Middle East. Coming from a very religious Catholic background, I had been dogging the Lord with arguments, reasoning, mocking, religious debates and an 'I know it all attitude' until the Holy Spirit met me and turned all my stupid intelligence, fake, religious ideologies into nothing.  For the first time in life I felt so light, so joyful, ever so loved, a need to know more, a need to fellowship with others who believed like me.  I had this great hunger for the presence of God and my silly arguments, my pride, my false impressions meant nothing. Because now I felt so rich in Christ, so proud to be a woman, so precious as a little girl on my Father's knee, a baby in His arms being cuddled and hugged!   It seemed like all my sin, my guilt and the shameful things that I had done had all suddenly vanished and I was in such peace.  I felt so loved for the first time and was proud to be me, GRETA!  From that moment on, I was never the same. I didn't have to play religion, I was changed, made new, made clean, a shining light for my Lord and Saviour alone.   The third day during family time I tried to say my usual prayers and suddenly I was filled with the Holy Spirit and started to speak in new tongues….I was so excited and didn’t know what I was saying. 
  
  

  Ever since my amazing spiritual birth, the Lord put a strong desire in my heart for prayer, intercession and a hunger for His word.  After seeing how I dramatically changed from the filth of sin, the blame games, the complaining and from darkness to light and with the joy of the Lord, I was driven with a passion to rescue all women and reach out to everyone who came my way from all walks of life and show them that this is what our life is all about.....we were born simply for God, created from love to bring Him back pleasure so He could give us all our hearts desires and free us from the deception of Satan and all the miseries and struggles of life. 

    

  Women Ablaze started in the year 2000.  Actually looking back the women's ministry was birthed within my heart in Bahrain. After experiencing the things young women go through these days, the Lord healed and restored me one by one and I felt a desire to minister to other young girls and women.  We started having prayer meetings and bible discussion groups with the hospital staff in several nurses’ hostels in Manama.  Today many of those women have returned to their own countries and started serving Jesus.  Hallelujah!    In Canada the Lord sparked off a new direction within my heart towards the women's ministry.  My late husband and I were involved in healing and deliverance in Bahrain so the ministry followed us here in Mississauga Ontario.  God was taking us into a new dimension of His love and glory. 
  
  At this time both my feet were afflicted with sores to the point I couldn't walk...each step was a wonder.  My skin and flesh was rotting.  At night I couldn't sleep, I was in so much torment.  The specialists were of little help.  I even had to wrap my legs with plastic bags due to the bad smell and my husband would constantly pray with tears over my body.  My skin and flesh was rotting, stinking with bloody sores and my skin was tearing apart and we couldn’t understand what was happening.   During the same time I was having a very different spiritual experience in the Lord. I was led into deep, groaning intercession for hours.  The Spirit would overtake me anytime, anywhere with much tears and groans until I get a release.  Then in my weak state I lie there and God would overwhelm me with His love.  His touch, His revelations and so much glory….I didn't want to leave His presence.  Yet in the flesh I was still in agony.  As we sought the Lord together daily in prayer we realized that the Lord was doing something very special and wonderful with us.  
  
  During such a time of intercession and prayer one day, I was also seeking the Lord for the women’s ministry in Canada when I saw a vision of a blazing fire, a wild fire spreading all across the world.  A fire so strong, so bright catching every women, every home across the nations that could not be put out.  Then I received the name 'WOMEN ABLAZE'.    This was also confirmed by late Rev. Apollo at that time.  Later my body began to gradually heal, my feet came back to normal and I was made whole.  Ever since then the Lord always prepares me in the Spirit for the things to come in visions, dreams and in intercession.  The FIRE of God's presence has never left as we cry out for more!  Our heart's desire is that the anointing will spread through the nations as the Lord promised and the Bride of Christ will be restored back to the Father as One!  Though we sorrow now sure Joy will come in the morning and yes it is great joy to see how we have received an open heaven for Gods glory!  The fields are RIPE my friend!
  
  Women Ablaze has been teaching and touching the hearts of the Saints of all ages in a mighty way.  God started this marvellous work among our community and abroad and amazing things have been happening. I have just returned a few months now from Australia and Bahrain and witnessed a great move of God everywhere we went.  During the years we have seen many who have learned to love and appreciate themselves in different ways; received forgiveness and learned to forgive. WAB is a ministry of spiritual warfare. Women are challenged to come out of their comfort zone and move on with a new boldness, putting on the entire amour of God.  This ministry is an excellent tool for reaching out to women of every ethnic and cultural background. People are miraculously restored, healed and refreshed with a new measure and an awesome outpouring of the joy of the Lord.   

   

  To encourage you, my beloved be strong, be bold in the Lord.  For your God is with you.  And greater is He in you than he that is in the world. May His exceeding abundance be your portion today and always.  Ephesians 3:20-21.   Love and Blessings!
