    April show's guest: Bette Light of Forever Young Pathways

    Bette Light is the founder of Forever Young Pathways and a registered nurse with a BS in Health Education, a Master's degree in gerontology and healthcare administration. She has been working in the field of geriatrics since 1973. Her experiences caring for the elderly include services as a Director of Nursing, Administration and Nurse Consulting in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in New York, Connecticut, Georgia and Florida. For the past 17 years, Bette has been teaching in nursing homes throughout Florida & Georgia on issues related to geriatric nursing care, incontinence management and quality of life issues.

    Bette combines her studies and interests in natural health and wellness with her teaching of the more traditional geriatric nursing care. 
     

    Forever Young Pathways represents the "whole person wellness coaching center without walls”, they offer education, wellness coaching support services and resources to help each of you reach your maximum level of emotional and physical independence…they do not separate physical and emotional health.

     

    Wellness and healthy aging is slowing down the mental and physical decline through good nutrition, exercise, sleep, managing stress, positive attitude about aging. Whole person wellness is viewing life from a positive and proactive approach to all aspects of emotional and physical health. Help people make connections between daily habits and lifestyles and how they relate to illnesses such as diabetes, arthritis, cancer...
