On this episode we welcome

Master Gardener Johnaca "JD" Dunlap

She is an Administrator and Content Contributor for The Earth Works Project.

Johnaca Dunlap is a Master Gardener for South Carolina who volunteers her time in gardening, study, and research to help local residents with subjects such as botany, plant propagation, plant diseases, basic entomology and soil. Her interest in gardening blossomed into a desire to grow healthy fruits and vegetables for her family. She decided to enroll in the Master Gardner program through the local county extension office. After completing the course she began her volunteer hours by helping out at the local Farmers’ Market where the varied and diverse questions encouraged her to dig deeper into the fascinating world of plants. She has taught community outreach classes in gardening and volunteered to man a booth promoting the preservation of watersheds in her state.

She continues her learning by experimenting with various forms of gardening including raised bed, containers and vertical garden styles. As other classes of interest present themselves she jumps right in meeting new people and learning from them.
