Thanks for sharing. Many Christians have gotten away from the purpose of fasting. I still believe it is needed for us to help us spiritually nourished. It may not have to be a 40 day or 50 day fast. It could be one day a week or whatever you feel led by the spirit to do but it shouldn't become a taboo.

This is one area where most of us lack and that is fasting. If we only knew what the purpose of fasting is then many will do it more often...Thank you for sharing and I hope more people listen to this show and more would fast!
