  Harlem Up-N-Coming was created to help keep kids off the street and bring families together by sponsoring an Easter Carnival Bash, Father’s Day Basketball Tournament, Mother’s Day Softball Game, Back to School and Community give back day, Halloween Party , Feeds homeless & Senior Citizens on Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas giveaways. It represents a unique source of strength and togetherness, says Anthony ‘Hunc” Nixon, president of HUNC. I want the children and community of Harlem to know that someone cares about them and they can have fun in their very own community. This is just my way of giving back to the community that I was raised in, work in, and live in.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming (HUNC) is an elite team of caring individuals who care about our youth and community. We believe by creating a safe, fun environment for today’s youth we are building stronger families and safer communities.

  Each year Harlem Up-N-Coming (HUNC) sponsors an Easter Carnival Bash. At this event there are huge flatable rides, an Easter bunny, all kinds of games and activities, food, t-shirts, cotton candy, performances, everything for a kid to be a kid. This event is well anticipated by all. This event would not be possible if it was not for the sponsors. They include Def Jam Recordings, Universal Motown, Potamkin Cadillac Hummer of Harlem, Harlem Wing & Waffle, Roc-a-Fella Records, HUNC Records, (DTP) Disturbing Tha Peace, Street Records Corporation, and Roc La Familia.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming sponsors a Father’s day basketball tournament, and Mother’s day softball game. This is a time for parents to bond with their children. Harlem Up-N-Coming believes that a family who spends time together stays together. This event the winning team’s wins trophy’s and gift cards and the other teams are giving medals, No one is ever left out.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming sponsors a back to school & community give back day. We believe that a mind is a terrible thing to waste; therefore we provide school supplies needed to help children prepare for the coming school year. We also giveaway t-shirts, food, ices, cd’s, and loads of fun and creative activities.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming (HUNC) sponsors a Halloween party for children. At this event families come together in costumes, competing in dance contests, and laughing the night away. There are prizes given for the best costumes, and each child leaves with a free candy bag.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming also feeds the homeless and senior citizens on Thanksgiving Day at the Central Harlem Senior Citizen building located at 120 West 140th street. We offer a full dinner with the finest dessert. We also give away clothes for every age, coats, boots, sneakers and much more. This event is special because we get to serve individuals who are less fortunate and really make a difference in their lives.

  Harlem Up-N-Coming participates in the Christmas giveaway. We answer Dear Santa letters from the local post office, and on Christmas day we deliver $100 dollar gift cards to the homes of less fortunate children.

  “The ones who make it have an obligation to help others”, says Anthony “Hunc” Nixon the creative mind behind Harlem Up-N-Coming. My company and I lead with a philanthropic spirit. We believe that these kinds of events will help keep kids off of the streets and out of trouble and in the end we have help uplift the community as well as created a positive atmosphere for families.

  HUNC Records is an independent record company who seeks to discover various recording artists from all genres. We provide full marketing, platinum style promotion, artist development, and sales support to independent artists who are looking to win in a very diverse music industry. Our Current roaster includes Young B, Megan Rochell, and P-Star.

  Platinum Promotions/Team HUNC Street Team: We help build awareness for Major companies and their artists. By way of artist photo van wrap, passing out flyers, scooters ,T-shirts, giant advertising balloons, Inflatable’s, you name it we do it.
