The law of attraction has become a bandwagon and I don't want to add to the hype.  I don't want to add to the ever growing speculation about whether it works or exists either.

All I've ever been interested in regarding the law of attraction is to get it to deliver results!  And since I'm fortunate enough to be healthy and happily married, what I most want it to do is attract money.  In abundance, ideally.

Initially I tried applying the law of attraction according to - well - the rules.  Visualise, imagine and feel as though it's real.  I could feel my intrinsic resistance, but I didn't know how to prevent it.  What made matters worse was that the "rule books" and the law of attraction "gurus" said the resistance would cause the law not to work.

Bother!  The good part about that was that I didn't need to have a guilt trip for not getting it right when the money didn't materialise.

Sometimes the problem is that we go so far down a line that we forget where we came from.  And that's precisely what happened to me.  I was looking so intently at how to attract money with the law of attraction that I forgot my psychotherapy training, (which I use in every other aspect of my life), that I'd had gone through twenty plus years ago.

I don't honestly know what caused the virtual "whack on the side of the head" that made me join up those two extreme dots, but once I did everything fell into place.  The law of attraction began to work.  And I began to attract money.  Want to know the secret?  (Because it's not a secret at all!)

The law of attraction works all the time - and we use it quite naturally.  The big "Aha!" for me was seeing that there isn't some mysterious "technique" that we need to do or get right; there's simply a way of being that we just need to learn how to harness consciously.

Imagine you're planning a vacation.  It's six weeks off and you intend to travel to your hotel by car and it's half a day's drive away.  You'll be taking the kids too.  So you prepare and plan and make arrangements.  If you think about it, it's quite complex, but it wouldn't bother you because you know how to do such things.  You arrange your home's security, the pet care, the packing, the documents, the money ... the myriad things that will make it go smoothly on the day.

Now, you're imagining, visualising and believing utterly in the possibility that that trip and event is going to become your reality.  Any hitch or hiccup along the way you'd brush aside as you would a fly alighting on your nose.

There'd be no doubts or fears or disbelief in you at any time. And that's the state of mind in which you manifest even the things you can't see in your planner!

Fortunately, my training had taught me how to change my state of being - easily and quickly.  You can do it too - just think of such a time and put yourself in that state.

I said in the title of this article that you could attract money in less than ninety days.  Why?  Because I didn't think you'd believe me if I said you could do it in a week, let alone a day.

But maybe you do now.
