Can you imagine going from being a happy, healthy, normal 7 year old to being so traumatized that you became mute?

Well, our guest today, "Christine Shepherd" will share her story of how her sister, "Lashawn", lost her battle with breast cancer causing Christine to go mute from the traumatic shock.

Christine will also tell us how after her therapists suggested she start taking acting class, to bring out her shyness and voice, and about a month later Christine started speaking again. She then became very interested in acting which led her to the world of performing.

Christine expanded her interest into performing going from Voice, Ballet, and Theater training. Making her a triple threat at the age of 11 years old.

She finally decided on pursuing a acting career in Film and Broadway and is currently traveling back and forth to New York City and Baltimore for auditions.

In September 2009, Christine made her first film debut in the movie "Rich"; a story about a teenage runaway.

So it is with great pleasure and honor to be able to speak with Christine today to get an update to how her life has been going and how the pursuit of her dreams is progressing. Christine is such an incredible young lady.
