I get approached every week by relative newbies to
Internet marketing, who ask me, what's the fastest way
to get to the top.

They want to set up a website, outsource a product...
or dozens of products, and be making tons of sales
within 2 weeks.

I often have to tell them that since a big part of
online success does hinge upon name recognition, trust
and relationships, that there are certain steps that you
can't skip, or speed up beyond a certain pace.

You need to first of all acknowledge that there are a
LOT of others out there who want to roll out similar
products and sell to your target customers.

You need to acknowledge that the large list owners that
you want as joint venture partners often have dozens of
their own products that it would make more sense for them
to market.

Basically you need to acknowledge that you are one of
MANY seeking to do the same thing.

Buried within that fact, is one obvious solution. You
team up with others with a common goal and you jointly
produce and roll out products. That way you leverage
off of each others assets instead of draining off energy
competing.

Back to how you short-circuit the process... or shorten
the learning curve.

The answer is that you look for ways to work with others,
BUT you approach them from the perspective of how you
can help them to achieve their goals.  You acknowledge
that most of us are most focused on our own goals and
objectives, and the fastest, easiest way to get noticed
is to actually help someone else move forward.

Somewhere in that process, you'll discover that those that
you actually ally with... and not just try to use, will
take a lot of pleasure in really trying to help you to reach
your goals.  

They'll actually want to see you reach that peak sooner!
