Yes, I'm a Christian, but far from a Saint. Yes, I'm a Diva, so watch what you say. What I said yesterday, I may not believe tomorrow, because of what I've learned today. My values keep me rooted but Hip Hop makes me sway. So, listen to a conservative black woman share her point of view. Even if you disagree, I LOVE the HATERS Too.

April 15th Don't Be Afraid When Success Comes

In everything I do, my first reaction is to look at and judge myself. I dream big and aspire to great things.

But I have a problem. I look back on the things I've done and the mistakes I continue to make, and this some times blurs the line on what I think I deserve.

But the truth is, if I continue to put the work in now, what I get in my future will have nothing to do with my past. It will be a pure reflection of the passion I feel for the subjects I talk about, the stories I write, and the people who listen and read along. And my passion will continue to flourish the more the more I learn.

So, What is the lesson learned in this?

When you decide to make changes in your life, don't forget to forgive yourself for all the mistakes. They made you who you are and your ability to conquer them has only readied you for the future.

Forgive yourself, Accept your Blessings, and Keep Working Hard. The possibilities are endless.
