In October 2013

I conducted a survey on the number of people in Jamaica who are registered organ donors,  and to my astonishment not a single one out the many I have spoken to is a registered organ donor, some never even heard of such thing.

Base on this finding, I have decided to start a organ donor initiative in the form of a club.

One of the methods that I intend to use so as to get people to join is to offer cash not for the sale of body parts as I know well that such thing is illegal. But if we can sort of help poor people with say $200.00 just for becoming members, they will have no problem donating their entire body so that others can live after they are dead,  some will even be more willing to donate a organ while alive.

Another thing to consider is the high rate in which young Jamaicans are dying, some by the gun, motor vehicle accidents and regrettable suicide.

I just hope that you will support this cause financially and otherwise
