Does Idle No More have the impetus to keep on going ?  

Sylvia McAdam  a co-founder of a global movement called "Idle No More". She resides on her peoples lands in the Treaty 6 territory and teaches university classes in nearby Prince Albert. She is from the Nehiyaw nation and the Whitefish Lake Reserved Lands #118. Sylvia is a fluent nehiyaw speaker and understands her people’s culture. She is a direct descendant of Treaty makers, and hereditary okimaws. She is a mother, and a grandmother. She has earned her Jurist Doctorate from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Human Justice from the University of Regina. She is author of a book called "Cultural Teachings: First Nations Protocols & Methodologies".

Souta Calling Last works with a Phoenix-based group called Valley Natives. This group was formed in response to INM movement to foster a sense of community within the urban native community. It has organized a number of teach-ins on water relations, the environment, climate, and de-colonization. She is also a founding member of non-profit with a fellow Masters student and good friend Laura Medina working on community and tribal government relations, as well as educational presenting.  She grew up on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana and a member of the Blackfoot Confederacy, also an enrolled in the Blood tribe of Alberta Canada.
