"When you are learning lessons well and moving without resistance, you will have an option to move faster. A door will open for you. You and only you may move through the door." -Art Runningbear

Art Runningbear

From the Whiteriver community of North Central Arizona, Runningbear was born to and raised in a long lineage of the medicine clan of the Whitemountain Apache Tribe.  At the age of five, he was brought to the Grandfathers and Grandmothers to begin his journey towards fulfilling his role as a healer and a seer for the people.

This journey has brought him around the world, where his high level of integrity and ethics have enabled him to both teach and learn with some of the greatest and most elusive spiritual beings; including the Zen masters in Japan, Buddhist monks in Tibet and the Sudanese natives in North Africa.

Some of his students include American actress, film producer and director, Demi Moore; American actor, screenwriter, film producer and director, Denzel Washington; renowned Ama-Deus healer, Dexter Leland.

Kelly Morris & Liz Seidel: Shamanism 101

We've all heard the term shamanism before but what does it mean? What does a shaman do?

Where Is My Guru had the opportunity to speak with Kellly Morris and the shaman she is apprenticing under, Liz Seidel about these questions and how they plan to implement 30,000 year old shamaninc teachings into her Conquering Lion Teacher Training program.

If you are interested in learing more, there is a Q&A tonight at the shala at 815 Broadway in New York City. You can find out more about the teacher training by visiting www.conqueringlionyoga.com.
