The Baptism of Power and Why We Need It

There are two physical baptisms; the first is baptism in the Name of Jesus which usually precedes water baptism and then there is the baptism in the Holy Spirit. These are separate baptisms and each one is significant; but the later baptism is the one that pours on the power. The baptism in the Holy Spirit creates a boldness to witness Jesus Christ and to manifest the power of God. It is this baptism that allows us to perform the great exploits for God that we read about in the Book of Acts.  Joel 2:28-32; John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48)
