My Guest on the Thursday, March 31th episode of MetalSmith BenchTalk is artist and jewelry maker Jillian Moore.

For examples of Jillian's work, see: here. To learn a little more about Jillian - in her own words:

"I am currently featured in American Craft in their "On Our Radar" series. I just finished a solo show at the Appalachian Center for Craft in February. I've also had a solo show at the National Ornamental Metal Museum. I'm taking part in CoOperative Tableware during SNAG, I've been invited to a show at Quirk in the fall, and I have my LEAP Award feature next January.

I've had a long relationship with Velvet da Vinci--they did a showcase of my work in the fall of 2008 when I was fresh out of school. It's something I will always be grateful for. I have also had a very wonderful time working with a gallery in Zurich called Friends of Carlotta--the owner, Bruna Hauert, has been very supportive as well. I also have work at Quirk Gallery in Richmond, VA, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, I just sent work to Fancy Gallery in Seattle, and I sell work at the Mutter Museum gift shop--something I'm particularly proud of given that I love everything about the Mutter Museum. I also did a small invitational show at Schmuckfrage, a gallery in Berlin, titled "underwaterlove."

I have a workshop at the University of Northern Iowa next week, and another coming up at MASSC in May.

I'm also a contributing writer to the Art Jewelry Forum blog with a particularly in depth article on SOFA Chicago last year and this will be my second year blogging the SNAG Conference for Crafthaus."
