Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick opens the first hour of theWestchester On the Level with Narog and Aris radio program on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012, by discussing the process the City Council is presently undertaking in the study of Mayor Mike Spano’s FY2012-2013 Proposed Budget. We will review what has been scrutinized so far, what the process is meant to achieve, and President Lesnick’s role in seeing the process to its end conclusion.

Westchester On the Level is heard from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on the Interney. Join the conversation by calling 1-347-205-9201. Please stay on topic.

Fordham University Professor Paul Levinson will speak to the promised May 1st, 2012, comeback by Occupy Wall Street (OWS) with rallies planned across the country. New York City may stage a substantial resurgence and possibly be in a position to "re-occupy" specific locations. White Plains was able to bring between 60 and 75 people to its rally. New York City was predominately represented by those under 35; White Plains brought out the 55 plus crowd. That alone will require introspection.
