Do you have a sweet tooth but feel guilty every time you reach for something sweet? Sugar comes in many tasty forms but our bodies can react adversly towards eating too much of any one of them. Eating too much can put us at risk for diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the pancreas does not produce any insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body to control the level of glucose (sugar) in your blood. Without insulin, glucose builds up in your blood instead of being used for energy.
