Newsflash... we're getting older!  And thank goodness for that because frankly, the alternatives to aging are not so appealing.  So, since we're doing it, we may as well do it well, right?!

It's always kind of puzzled my why people make aging synonymous with poor health.  Not just well meaning family and friends, but professionals - doctors and nurses and the like - buy into and sell this paradigm to far too many people.  Why is that?

I mean, okay, I may not have the speed and agility I had when I was a teen ager (and frankly, I'm not certain that I want it at this age!)... but that doesn't mean that I'm sitting around in a rocking chair, with a shoe box full of pills and linament for my aching joints either.  That simply doesn't have to be the case.

A healthy lifestyle leads to healthy living - at any age!  And that's not just me saying that.  There is tons of research that shows how exericse promotes wellness, reduces the risk of many chronic illnesses... even helps you to maintain brain power!  It's even been known to reverse some illnesses.  And the great thing is, it can be done at any age and there are all sorts of ways to do it.

You may not want to hang out in the gym or make an investment in expensive exerecise equipment, and that's okay!  A good pair of sneakers, a t-shirt and a pair of jogging pants is all you need.

Listen in as I share information about what makes up a healthy exercise routine and the tremendous health benefits of exercising.

Exercise alone may not be the fountain of youth, but it definitely is a good long drink of vitality.
