This weeks episode we discuss the SuperBowl and how people made it a political statement. People correlated the Atlanta Falcons to the "Resistance" and the New England Patriots to "Make America Great Again". The Falcons came up short for the culture striking a similar feeling of the past presidential election. I give my unpopular opinion that black people in America are currently NOT OPPRESSED. Are we Discriminated, Profiled, Stereotyped at times?, of course, but not oppressed. I explain in detail how I come to this conclusion. As somebody that identifies as "Hotep" I explain what hotep means to me and the various misconceptions that have been associated with the term. Also we discuss that all black people do not have to think the same. Just because someone has a differing view or opinion that goes against the group think does not make them an "Uncle Tom or "Coon". We need to have a more open mind and more accepting if true social economic progression can occur.
