This week, Bobbie Dee introduces a Father and Son team who produces both artwork on canvas, and the embodiment of words and expressions to coincide with the art. The father contributes the art; the son produces the words. Daniel Dowdell and Kwame Dowdell will discuss their brand of inspiration, and their methodology in reaching and inspiring others.
Daniel Dowdell is a native of the District of Columbia, a longtime resident of the state of Florida, and a true Global citizen. His art has been described as a primitive style of expression brought to life by his one of a kind oil backgrounds. Through his art Daniel strives to motivate and inspire people of all backgrounds, ages and stages of life to be positive about life and conscious of time.
Daniel strives to create colorful, unique pieces that challenge the eye and intellect. Experience has taught Daniel to appreciate the beauty of life, the diversity and simultaneous unity of humanity, as well as the constraints of that blank canvas which is the unknown quantum of time we are each given that remain suspended between date of birth and date of passage.
Kwame Dowdell, a native of Jacksonville, is the Varsity Baseball Coach at First Coast Christian School.
Both have busy lives but in their spare time, they work together to produce an aesthetic blend of visual and hermeneutics for inspiring others.
