Welcome to Cafe Inspiration with Bobby Dee..There are occasions in life when you will find that when we inspire our offspring, they, in turn, return to provide parents with a greater degree of inspiration and hope. It brings me great delight to introduce to you my eldest son, Robert Drummond. Robert will come in to the Café and share his life experiences, some good, some bad, some easy, many challenging. Robert Drummond, “From the Mat to the Lab,” recognizes that one mistake could have destroyed his future career that he enjoys today. He will discuss many of his challenges and what it took to prevail, to overcome, and to not be denied. His remarkable story is powerful and encouraging to others when they hear it. Robert Drummond, M.D., P.H.D., is a physician and a scientist, graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, and Johns Hopkins Medical School. He is a Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard. Robert is a devoted husband and father of two children. They are currently residing in Los Angeles, California, where he practices Internal Medicine and performs Sickle Cell Research. He is a former Stanton College Prep band section leader and State Wrestling Champion. He has accrued many recognitions, accolades, and awards, for his spirit of constant giving and helping others.
