Orrin Hatch on a 13-10 vote that would have stripped the Baucus bill of its abortion subsidies. The other health care bill in the Senate, the measure named for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, also contains provisions that would result in sweeping pro-abortion mandates and government subsidies for abortions

Hi, my name is Jeff Geibel Thank you for visiting. Here is some quick info about me: I recall three significant events that changed my life with respect to the legal killing of children: 1. During a college class, a teacher brought out jars with actual children from within the womb at various stages of development for us to examine. (This changed my mind. I changed from “pro-choice” to “pro-life”.) 2. I heard my daughter's heartbeat and saw her lively jumps and turns within my beautiful wife’s womb. (This changed my heart. I now had compassion and sorrow for children at this precious stage of life.) 3. Alan, an adamantly “pro-choice” friend, told me that if I really believe children are being killed, then my life didn’t reflect it. He suggested that my belief would be the equivalent of a guy throwing a grenade into a school in my neighborhood every day and killing children. He suggested that my lack of action showed I didn’t really believe children were being killed. I realized he was right. My life didn’t reflect my beliefs and I set out to change that. (This changed my “strength”. I became active in the movement to abolish the legal killing of children) Ever since change number 3, I’ve been looking for ways to bring about an end to the legal killing of children. This is the greatest human rights issue of our day. I hope you will join in the effort to make the killing of children illegal.
