RE: Meredith Emerson I'm not blaming Meredith for her own murder. This shouldn't happen to anyone but how many headlines like this do we have to read before women start realizing they are not safe, alone--especially in certain places. Just because you have a dog, or take self defense classes, does not make it safe to go hiking with a stranger.
