Dr. Wood is board certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is currently the program director of a back pain program. He received his undergraduate degree at Old Dominion in Exercise Physiology and PreMed. During undergraduate training he had the privilege to study abroad at Keele University in England to study neurobiology and travel through Europe.
Prior to attending medical school he was a body builder and served as a personal trainer to many professional athletes and movie stars. Upon completion of medical school he went back to Oklahoma with his wife and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Oklahoma in addition to starting his family. He is now a stage 4 Burkitt’s like lymphoma survivor, in addition to battling an immunodeficiency disorder
