In honor of Brain Injury Awareness Month, we are hosting a special broadcast to discuss traumatic brain injury and to bring awareness of this illness that affects so many soldiers and civilians every day. Tune in to the Weapons of Praise Blogtalk Radio Show on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 6:30 pm for an important broadcast that will enlighten all of us to the problems surrounding traumatic brain injury. This episode will host Adrienne B. Rumph, Regional Education Coordinator with DVBIC/Lakeview Virginia NeuroCare. Adrienne is a practicing registered nurse with an extensive background in sales, marketing, management and training. She lends her expertise and experience in her current role as an education liaison to military families, servicemen and servicewomen, and the community at large raising awareness about traumatic brain injury (TBI). Additional, responsibilities include assistance with the vocational/community reintegration program, research, and some training and certification of new staff members Adrienne is responsible for education locally and in Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. This show is a must for all military families, servicemen and servicewomen, and those within the community who either has a family member, friend, or even yourselves, who have had or is dealing with a traumatic brain injury.
