Ahhhh, we'll have your live butt with us then this Saturday night! The show will be covering the best and/or worst days of our lives, among other things! Should be fun ... After that, I'm going to take a hiatus and decide what to do with the show for the future. Looking at likely switching to a mid-day/weekday timeslot, though I'm not sure what day yet. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all live this Saturday night at 10PM Central!

I'm so sorry I didn't join you live for Show #2. I forgot to set my alarm clock. Dang! You were talking about weird home life, too. I am like the poster child for that. I deserve double punishment for not showing up. I promise to drag my lazy butt out of bed next week so I don't miss the fun!

Al Bundy? Ahh, c'mon Peg. Possum porn sounds interesting, though I can't say I've ever seen it before. I understand they have donkey shows in Mexico, though. Is that similar? (D'oh)!

Man Without a Party

Businessman, magazine and newspaper columnist and author, William Douglas Little, is like many Americans today - unrepresented. With the current, two-party political system, millions of Americans are left out in the cold, with no voice in Washington. With this current climate, the masses are left to merely stand by while the country they love is destroyed by one politician or another. Join William Douglas Little and be heard - share your views on the topics being discussed and together, we can spawn a revolution to bring a new, third party onto the scene ... before it's too late.

    This Saturday's Show ...

MBF Radio Saturday, September 20, 2008:

This coming Saturday night, I'll be asking you what makes your family special! No, I'm not talking about the new car in the driveway or how much you love your kids ... we all love our kids. What I'm looking for are the interesting, weird, curious and unique things that are specific to your family that the rest of us will find interesting! Do you celebrate special events in a particularly different way? Do you celebrate events that nobody else does? Do you have pet names for everyone in the family? Do you play special games or follow special traditions that the average family doesn't?

The fun of the question is finding out what others do that makes them truly "unique", and perhaps coming up with ideas of starting exciting new traditions with our own families. Things that our kids will remember in a positive manner for years to come!

And, of course we'll still be operating as an open forum, taking your comments, calls, chats and discussions about anything and everything in life and trying to find the funny side of what goes on in our daily existence! (Pretty much like sitting around a bonfire, drinking beer and telling stories ... only without the bonfire and the beer! Although, you're welcome to BYOB if you desire)!

Join me this Saturday night at 10PM Central for an hour of fun right here on MBF Radio at www.blogtalkradio.com/wdlittle!

    All the best,

    WDL

    To Former Askviller's ...

With the overwhelming number of current and former Askville memers who joined in the first broadcast of MBF Radio, I feel compelled to once again say thank you to all those friends who spent their Saturday night with me here on BTR. Also, I've mentioned to everyone who joined during the initial broadcast, (and the nearly hour-long extended chatroom session following the end of the show), that for the time being, we can certainly use the show's chat and broadcast as a weekly forum with which to stay in touch.

Reading about the current Askville boycott and the many levels of displeasure with that forum, I myself am interested in finding an alternative resource for everyone to stay in touch and support one another through our daily hardships. Though the show is promoted to and a service of, many who are in no way involved with A'ville, I would like to offer to keep the chat open for as long as possible following the next two Saturday night shows. That will provide us with a fun area to catch up, talk about what's going on in life and most importantly, share or stories with others.

Once again, thank you all for joining me and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, (as well as new recruits) at the show this coming Saturday night at 10PM Central time!

    All the best,

    WDL

    Thanks For Listening!

A special thanks to everyone who listened in and joined in the initial broadcast of MBF Saturday night! It was great getting back to a radio setting, (though I had some hiccups in the initial stages)! I can't wait to join you all again next weekend when I'll (hopefully) have some of my kinks worked out and enable some of you to join me on air with your own stories. Though I don't plan to have specific "themes", so to speak - the show will always be open forum for anything that looks at the fun side of life - I am going to ask you to share some of what makes your family special during next week's show. Those little things that you do together, celebrations, traditions, weird customs ... anything that is interesting that makes your family unique! Aside from that, we'll just share some funny stories and news and whatever comes to mind!

Thanks again for joining me this week and I look forward to seeing you all here on BTR next Saturday night!

    All the best,

    WDL

    MBF Radio is now underway!

MEXICAN BOWL FISHING RADIO KICKS OFF!
September 13, 2008 - Sullivan, Missouri: As promised, the first broadcast of MEXICAN BOWL FISHING RADIO kicked off at 10:00PM Central Time on BlogTalkRadio.com to a well-received audience for a first-time broadcast. With very little promotional lead, MBF Radio - as it is now being dubbed - maintained an average audience number through its entire hour with post-show reviews and comments all receiving favorable, 5-star ratings.

Show host and author of MEXICAN BOWL FISHING: And Other Tales of Life, William Douglas Little began his career as a late night, then morning drive radio host and had this to say about the initial show's performance: "Well, I honestly thought that I was going to lose it there at the beginning. Nothing seemed to be working right, which was my fault, and I actually locked myself out of the 'studio', having to break in only 2-minutes before air. Basically Murphy's Law took over for me and I came very close to choking on the whole thing. Fortunately I pulled myself together at the midway point and I think from there nobody really noticed. Doing a show again was fun and I'm looking forward to the next two weeks."

Little has assigned three total broadcasts as what he calls a "test run" to see if the show is going to be well accepted as well as to see if he is again able to adapt to a radio format. If audience feedback following the first show is any indicator, Little had better start thinking about scheduling some time each week for a long time to come!

MBF Radio's next broadcast will be Saturday, September 20th from 10:00PM to 11:00PM Central Time with the third show assigned to the same time slot on Saturday, September 27th. Listeners can join the show live via talk or chat during the broadcast times or listen to the archive recordings following broadcast all at www.blogtalkradio.com/wdlittle.

    Coming Soon!

As if I didn't have enough to do, I'm now working to put together a weekly show on BlogTalkRadio! The planned show will be live from Missouri each week and focus, (much as my book, blog and magazine column), on the finding the humor hidden within life's misfortunes. I'm looking forward to talking with you each week where we can share comical tales, look for the funny in life and simply learn to "laugh it off" at the end of a grueling week!

I hope you'll be joining me, right here on BlogTalkRadio!

(In the meantime, check out my various sites for more information)
