Self Love Love yourself first! Until you are able to embrace self love it will be really difficult to truly love others or attract love from others. Some people equate self love as a selfish act or a form of narcissism. Self love has nothing to do with narcissism. Narcissism is a pathological disorder. Loving yourself is about self acceptance and learning not to focus on your imperfections. We are so much more than our flaws and our mistakes. Humans are all perfectly imperfect and for this reason we are here on the planet to learn and strive to be better persons. Love yourself and love your life journey.
God Sees You as His Beloved Child
If you are a Christian, you are not a stranger to God. You are not an orphan, even though you may sometimes feel alone. The heavenly Father loves you and sees you as one of his children:
"'I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,' says the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:17-18, NIV)
