We have all seen the scene from a movie or TV program where an old man or lady sitting on a park bench throwing bread crumbs to a flock of pigeons. While the birds were eating happily a small boy approaches running, screaming, and flailing his arms, frightening and scattering the birds. The little boy's intention was not to feed the birds but to scary them away. This is how my life is at times. My Heavenly Father provides for me in many abundant ways. But Satan lurks in the background ready to strike at an appropriate time, offering nothing of any good, trying to scare me away from what God is doing in my life. I have a strong fear of failure, sometimes it is overwhelming. I can be unsure of myself and become very indecisive at times. But I continue to fight. As I do God continues to whisper in my ear and heart that I need to trust in His promises. I need to realize that every situation, everything I do, God brings into my life for my best and to make me stronger. So, when the enemy shows up trying to make me fearful, I need not run away from God and His blessings rather I am to run to God who is my strength. When I am in my Father's arms, satan will flee and I can enjoy what the Lord has intended for me to have. Everytime I am in a project and I begin to feel uneasy I make a conscious decision to yield everything to Jesus. I claim victory in my fear of failure and begin praising God for His promise. God will not leave me and will help me succeed. God Bless
