Photobucket Leolah is one of 8 children and was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Her brother is singer Bobby Brown who is 5 years her junior. When people asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up as a child she said she didn't know but it would be something to do with God. Her life growing up has been a roller coaster and through that she has found God. Her book my journey to God is about her life from birth to present day. www.leolah.com Leolah has always said from being small she would work for God, this is something that she believes in strongly to this day. She has founded a charity called The Hereafter Foundation. which provides a safe haven and transformation home for youth. Her web address is www.thehereafterfoundation.org to which donations can be made The first centre will be in Atlanta. But Leolah’s vision is to have a centre in every state in America. The aim of the home is to save, change and re-direct the lives of youth and homeless people of the world today. To do this by providing shelter and promoting teaching strong family values coupled with adequate morals. The Foundation will also provide education and training from G.E.D, cooking, home making, anger managment, social skills etc... This will be used as a vehicle for the young person to turn their life around and give all they have to create a good life for themselves and others around them.
