"WELDON A. McDOUGAL III, has been a popular figure in the soul music business since the early 1960s. Having been a partner in Harthon Records, he went on to work for Motown and Philadelphia International Records in promotion and public relations capacities. Now acting as a consultant to Grapevine Music Group, Weldon is also a photographer and has taken photos of many soul stars over the years. His work has been published in several music books including The Sound Of Philadelphia (1975), The Michael Jackson Scrapbook (1984) and Motown: The Golden Years (2001)."
