Managing change within a large federal organization is a tough job - but a neccessary one. According to Ira Kitmacher, Manager of Culture Change and Senior Adviser at the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), it's more important now than ever to focus on cultural change and employee engagement in the federal sector as all organizations face cuts and difficulties which inevitably impact employees.

In this HCMF podcast, Ira speaks to Kelly Hushin, Online Content Manager for WBR (producers of HCMF), about what it takes to implement and manage change as well as why it’s all so important. He’ll also talk about this at the Human Capital Management Federal conference, or HCMF, which takes place November 14 to 16 at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.
